Projects
Projects through which Guanyi explores heritage, place and contemporary cultural expression.
Guanyi Projects
Guanyi develops cultural projects that bring research, storytelling and creative practice together.
Each project begins with a particular tradition, place or cultural question, creating space to explore how heritage can be understood, documented and expressed in contemporary life.
Some projects may take the form of film and digital storytelling; others may develop through research, editorial work or collaboration. What connects them is a commitment to approach cultural heritage with care, curiosity and respect for its context.
Featured Project
Ongoing Project
An ongoing cultural film project exploring the world of Dongguan agarwood — its memory, craft and place in contemporary life.
Through film and digital storytelling, Xunxiangji seeks new ways to encounter a cultural tradition shaped across generations.
Projects at Guanyi
For Guanyi, a project is not an endpoint, but a way of looking more closely — at traditions, places, materials and the people who carry cultural knowledge forward.
